This is japonicastar 's work journal as I like to look at the worksafe stuff on my friends list. However I have no idea how to block certain people's unworksafe stuff and so decided to make myself another journal and add the more worksafe people on my flist.

So don't mind me, I hope I don't insult anyone!

This place will probably be more about the memes than anything else.

So I'm supposed to post non-worksafe stuff on here? Yes? WOOOT, let me dig through my embarrassing stuff!

Hope work isn't all that bad to you. Choo work in, anyway?

I have a few people on my flist that have ehem... saucy icons or post things that I know full well that if the people I work with see it then there'll be trouble.

I work in an Insurance Brokers. Which is about as exciting as the name on the tin. Well no, actually it's not that bad and I do enjoy my job, I'd just rather be at home! Safe to say that we are a dinky company and everyone knows everything about everyone!

Today we are having work photos taken of us to put on the website and no one it done. Some one actually called in ill and we know she was whinging last week about it.

I'm going to Cyrpus in June I wanted to say to you. Highly doubt you'll be there then though, as Mexico is a far away place. But eh, if you are going home well I'd thought I'd better say i'm going to be there too!

Woot! Cyprus! Whereabouts in Cyprus will you be?

I won't be going there in some time-- but we're planning going to the UK for a fortnight in October or so. Let's hope it works out, and that we may meet then at last.

I am staying in Alexander The Great Hotel in Paphos which I have heard is a nice hotel, but I'm worried now as I have an 'inland' room and all these review websites complain about the noise.

Where is the UK are you going? I'm in the south west but I'll take a train and meet you for the day if you aren't coming anywhere near here.

Funny that we haven't actually met or anything, feels like I've known you for years!

Paphos is a great place to be, if I were to move to Cyprus, I'd likely move there. There's a place called the Tombs of the Kings, which is interesting to explore, and 40-pillar castle, which is an old old bunch of ruins I luuurve. Also also visit the seaside castle, it's a good refuge from the midday sun. Don't forget your water wherever you go, and never, ever get more than 3 scoops of ice cream to eat outdoors... it melts faster than you can eat it. Be sure to take one of those ship tours, they're very nice. And visit all around the island, if you can. Ha ha, now I'm nostalgic.

The proposed tour of the UK, provided it happens this year, covers a week of London and environs, possibly including a day trip to Glastonbury and Stonehenge and the such, then making our way up north towards York, as I have mine uncle over in Doncaster and mum would like to meet the horde of kids he's made over the years. Then we're moving to base @Edinburgh, as I want to do mine Masters in Lit over there, and I want them to see Stirling, the Lochs and such, and thennnn we're off to Ireland for a few days, making our way back to London as it strikes our fancy.

I'm thinking it'll be either three weeks or a month over there, depending on funds and workload over here, but we'll make sure to meet. *pinky promise*

Re: *squeee*
*Is squeeful about your House icons*

I'm only going for a week! How am I supposed to fit all that in? The Tombs on the kings I think I've been to before as I've been to Cyprus twice and I don't think we could have missed them out.

Hmm... My memory is not as good as it was but I do have the vague recollection of being very thirsty wandering around being to hot and tired to care much about the probably fascinating things there. Must have been the tombs... Right near the harbour bit. Mind you this was back in 2002 and I'm probably wrong.

In regards to your trip to our lovely wet, green, old isle, it sounds pretty damn fantastic. I live here and I haven't been to half the places you've mentioned, though Glastonbury & Stonehenge I have. I live just north of Bristol, which you'd drive past to get down to see the ancient stones, so hopefully I'll get to see you then.

I should, fingers crossed, be able to drive by then and I can meet you somewhere. I'd need an approximate date though hon, work is evil as you know, and I'd have to book time off.

I am really excited though, which sounds weird, but you're the infamous Canis, who is utterly brilliant so no wonder. *pinky promise back*

Hope I don't sound like some sort of maniac by the way who is actually a 50 year old man. That's what I'm always afraid of about people online. I'm genuinely a 21 year old gal whose frizzy red hair is going brown and wants to meet her oldest online pal.

I’ve fallen into my usual trite nattering so I’m going to shut up now and I finally write you a review for Time. I did read the chapter yesterday but got in the shower and fainted so my day wasn’t properly free to actually write!
